Web Two Point Oh logo

In case you didn't get the memo, teh intar-webz has entered version 2. Sites like Digg, Gmail, Flickr, Vimeo, Del.icio.us, Bloglines, and Writely make use of a snazzy web technology called AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript And XML), which basically means the web page you're looking at doesn't have to refresh as often and can instead update in-line.

Web 2.0 is all about social networking, collaboration, blogging, and sharing.

A common theme among many Web 2.0 sites is that they're perpetually in beta. That is, they're never really "finished". It's works out well: the company is not liable for damages ("it's still in beta!") but no one heeds the warnings of betas and jumps in head first, giving the company the web traffic (and ad revenue) it wants.

Another common theme is over-sized, shiny, reflective, beta logos. In light of this, comes the Web 2.0 company logo generator -- type in a name, and it'll give you a snazzy web 2.0 logo. I've done this for my blog title now, complete with the beta asterisk. Enjoy!
